Charlotte Hobkirk just missed out on second place in the Ippon Kumite also taking third place Bronze.

David McVay competing in his 9th National championship showed fine form in the Senior Male Kata event eventually being ousted in the semi-final by the eventual overall winner. (Great advertisement for muscle memory).
