Low Fell Shotokan Karate Club Gradings, Saturday 13th February Congratulations to all Low Fell students who graded last Saturday with Sensei Gary Harford 7th Dan. The session was once again well supported by locsl clubs with special thanks to Cramlington, South Beach, North Shields and Sunderland Sendai. Once again no temporary grades were issued keeping up the remarkable run of never having a temporary grade since the clubs launch over three years ago, quite an achievement well done everyone. The spirit award was presented once more to Ellie Spoors this is the second time in a row Ellie has won this well done and well deserved.

Black & Brown Belt Course Chesterfield 07/02/2010

Congratulations to Jordan Weatherley on passing Shodan last Sunday at the Black & Brown Belt course Chesterfield presided over by Sensei Sherry and Sensei Brennan.

Another fantastic achievement from last years Shotokan Cup kata Champion and Northern Region Kata & Kumite Champion

Low Fell SKC was formed by Senior club Instructor Bryan McVay (3rd Dan) on 18th September 2006 with the assistance of son David McVay (2nd Dan), Neil Ainsley (2nd Dan) and Dave Stabler (2nd Dan)

.

The Dojo is based in the Wesley Memorial church hall in Low Fell, Gateshead.

Gradings are held 3 times a year with outstanding success so far, due mainly to emphasis on quality as opposed to quantity.

Low Fell SKC is affiliated to the Karate Union of Great BritainĀ (KUGB),

the largest Shotokan Karate association in Great Britain.
